Overglaze Process: involves re-firing of any existing tile with a ceramic glaze making the paint fully fused and therefore permanent.
(This process is available on any glazed tile)

Donatello Process: is an underglaze high fire process in which a raw tile (bisque) is painted and fired, then glazed with a clear shiny or matte finish glaze giving the tile an "Old World Look" (This process is available on our bisque)

Thickness of Tile: In order to blend thicker handmade tiles (Donatello) with other tiles, it is best to frame murals with tile moldings or stone borders and butting thinner tiles against the frame.
